Mindful Communication

Communication is integral to our everyday lives, so it is vitally important that we develop the skills to improve it. Mindful communication can help us to skilfully navigate our interactions with others so that we can build healthy relationships, both in the workplace and at home. As such, it can bring lasting contentment, peace of mind, and even create the foundations for achieving our potential.

This three session course will introduce participants to the key principles and practices for mindful communication. The course will be highly interactive providing the opportunity to apply the theory and techniques with others on the course, so that participants can take them into their daily lives with confidence.

The course will be led by Michael Atkinson and Anna Broad (Mindful North).

This course is currently offered to groups and organisations. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the course further.

What does the course entail?

The course is in person, runs over a 3-week period, and sessions last 2 hours. In each session we will explore different facets of mindful communication through discussion, paired and group activity, and reflection.  This will be supported by guided mindfulness meditation practices. To help participants gain the maximum benefit from the course, we will encourage all to practice some of the techniques between sessions and bring their reflections to subsequent sessions.
